Lucknow: Celebrating success with friends, teachers and families with sweets and selfies, most CBSE class X top scorers said they tuned out of social media during exams.
At Amity International School, Rudransh Sharma scored 97.4%, Nancy Singh and Aradhya Agrawal scored 97% and Aviral Kansal 96.6%. Rudransh said, “I studied six hours daily, used last 10 years’ papers and minimised phone use.”
At Lucknow International Public School, all students passed. Varun Gupta scored 95%, Nishi Gautam 94% and Saumya Mishra and Anuvansh Shukla 93%. Varun said, “My routine was five to six hours of studies daily and no social media.”
At Lucknow Public Collegiate, Ruchi Khand-1, Sharda Nagar, over 87% students scored high. Kushagra Mishra, who topped with 94.6%, said, “I studied five hours daily and solved previous 10 years’ papers and was off social media.” SR Global School’s Hardik Gupta, who scored 98%, said, “I studied four to five hours daily. My parents supported me and my mobile phone use was zero.”
At GD Goenka Public School, Alisha Kaushik topped with 98.4%, including 100% in English. Aaryan Singh and Abhneesh Pal scored 98.2%, while Ayushi Yadav scored 98%. Abhneesh said, “Studying five hours daily, I went off social media, managing stress through sports and short breaks.”
At Lucknow Public School Sector I and Sector D, Shagun Pandey scored 98.4%, Anushka Siddharth 97.6% and Anshika Pandey 97%.
Shagun said, “My success mantra was discipline, and limiting screen time to less than an hour a day.”
